i have so, so much to say now, but because i have both math & chem waiting extremely impatiently for me (such a :/ thing to talk about in a post to herald the new year, eh? D:), i guess i'll have to keep this one short, for now. :/

very simply, ONE-TWELVE09 IS THE VERY AWESOMEST! ♥♥♥

okay allow me to brag a little, but yay special mention for class flag + 2nd for station games + 1st for concert! :D hahaha after we got back from the hall the whole class went to do a little victory lap around the track, complete with class flag sailing up ahead at the front, but apart from all of that i am just so incredibly proud of how they've grown together as a class, become perhaps ten million times more bonded and enthusiastic through the course of orientation and have just been the most brilliant class from start to end. (: and gosh, all the crazy, spontaneous 'we love 112!' moments we had all the time - from doing a mini torch-relay with the school tour torch and making a personal declaration of 'i love 112' as the torch went down the two rows, to randomly shouting '1-1-2' on the way to places; from being the first class to jump up and say 'we're going first' during the class flag parade (credit of course also goes to laoshi, hahaha) to getting together to produce the most uncliched class play ever, i'm just so absolutely proud of all 32 of these wonderful little ones. :D as becky said, the plot of the play was just so simple, and yet 112'o9 brought it to life so well, and to see them put up such a spectacular performance at the end of this week of orientation was, to say the least, very moving (or moo-ving, but okay, 112'09 inside joke, along with...other things that zien does not take to very kindly, hahaha.) (:

if i had to sum it up really simply, i would just say that it's been a most memorable orientation for me, and well, i guess it's particularly befitting of a last orientation at rgs, so yes, thank you all so much, one-twelve'o9. ♥ remember, all your class i/cs love you guys very, very much! :D

and of course, thank you also to my exceptional fellow 112 class i/cs! kimberley, zien, rebecca, shelley, shiyin, jenny, stephanie! ♥

moving on, i am also very thankful for this year's sec1 batch, fior, batch09 itself, and many other people...but that does not precisely do justice to how much gratitude i feel to each and every single one of them, since orientation09 would probably not have been as legendary (yes, legendary) without them. (: and in itself, i am thankful to have been given a chance to be part of RGS130. to know that you are part of an illustrious history and to get the chance to weave our own bit into that tapestry of time, to feel that spirit echoed from heart to heart by fellow rafflesians...it just is a most amazing feeling. (: and yes, i will have to say that i probably have never sung the school song with so much pride and passion as i have done over the course of these first couple of days of 2009. :D live the legacy, indeed.

and on a slight digression, have i also mentioned that four-fourteen09 is just...fantabulous beyond words? i love my class(es), really. ♥

ohwell, hopefully i'll get to do a longer & more exciting post on orientation sometime soon, but anyway to end off, i'll just reiterate that...

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)
